Want to sell online and to west coast speciality stores from the small NE Iowa town I moved to (from So Cal). I started a small Lawn Mowing service aboit 4 years ago, I have all the same customers, around 8 total. Problem is one of them expects me to mow his lawn for $30.00 it takes me about 1 hour to mow & trim. I complained about it, and said it seemed to me it was worth more than that for me to do the labor, gas, string for trimmer etc. He said, ” well it only takes you about an hour, thats not bad in my book for an hour’s work, and I pay you cash to.” I didn’t reply…another customer is an elderly lady who has been trying to figure me out as friend thinking she won’t have to pay me what I’m worth, and she can save money by talking to me alot, and stuff…Another customer of mine pay’s me $20.00 to mow her lawn, takes me 1/2 hr. and pay’s me extra $5.00 if I trim…WHAT? the hell kind of buisiness is this I’m running, a bargain outlet…People are making $50.00 Hr. no sweat every day, why am I settling for so much less, and why won’t these people pay me any more money…?
